40 Things I Don't Want for my 40th Birthday!

The count down is on.... only 22 days until my 40th birthday. As I approach the big 4-0 I would like to think that I know who I am and what I want in life. If that is true then I should also know what I don't want. Here begins the list of the 40 things I don't want to unwrap or think about or answer to etc. on my 40th birthday. Hey I'm not being negative....I'm just speaking up for myself.

Number 40: Rusty Crockpot

NASCAR® Special Edition Crock-Pot® Slow Cookers

Geez, have you ever seen anything so tacky in all your life?

NASCAR® and Crock-Pot® have long been a team with tailgating fans. Now they have come together and put a new spin on a timeless tradition with an exciting line of Special Edition slow cookers. Who's your driver? Time to bring him into your kitchen on a Rival Crock-Pot® slow cooker. Featuring many of NASCAR®’s top drivers, fans can now choose their favorite driver to appear on a custom-designed Crock-Pot® slow cooker!

Now don't get me wrong it's not that I have anything against NASCAR, but the thought of getting any cookware as a birthday present, Nascar or not, is not appealing. I already have a crock pot, one with pretty blue flowers on it and I am very happy with it in the cupboard, thank-you. Perhaps I'll pull it out again for 2006!

The magic of the chocolate fountain!

It's here..... again! Well, a month later and many $$$’s later in postage and custom charges, I finally have a working chocolate fountain. Just in time to see the fountains show up at my nearest Costco and Linens and Things and The Bay and Canadian Tire! Arrrggghhhh. I have put that behind me and now focus on the fun and enjoyment that can be had by all around the chocolate fountain. Nothing but chocolately goodness and lots of oooohs and ahhhhhs from friends and family.

Many a heart felt conversation is had around the fountain. Here mother and son discuss the meaning of life.

Nothing brings a family closer than praying together at the chocolate fountain.

Young and old are drawn to the fountain of youth to enjoy its sweet offerings!
